This, the 5th studio album from the Liffey Light Orchestra, mixes Irish traditional, folk and progressive rock  influences.

Musicians featured include Anto Drennan (electric and acoustic guitars), Michael Buckley (flute), John McCullough (flute), David Agnew (oboe), Robbie Harris (bodhrán, shaker, bongos),  Mick O'Brien (uilleann pipes and whistles), Philip Begley (piano and drums), and
Paul Egan (piano and guitars).

Beginnings as a tribute band

The Liffey Light Orchestra grew out of the theatre pit band at Dublin University Players, the drama society at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. It became a Mike Oldfield and Jean-Michel Jarre tribute band, being among the first bands to perform Oldfield's Tubular Bells and Jarre's Oxygene, and the first to perform Oldfield's Ommadawn .

Studio albums

In 2011, the LIffey Light Orchestra released its first studio album Filaments.  This was followed by Le French Album in 2017 and Lekeila in 2020, which was rated in the top 20 folk albums of that year by Hot Press magazine. The album, Jigs and Other Stories, was rated as 'Highly Commended' by Hot Press in their 2025 ratings. The fifth album Ana Livia is released in September 2026.
